Provides general operational and downtime sanitation. Breaks line operators as required.

Essential Duties Include the following:
Attendance/Punctuality – Is consistently at work and on time; Ensures work responsibilities are covered when absent.
Break line operators for short durations.
Cleans and lubricates cutters using proper lock out / tag out procedures.
Collect line samples and conducts tests.
On-site Requirement – Must perform duties onsite.
Responsible for daily and downtime sanitation.
Transport line waste to dump disposal area.
Use approved chemicals to sanitize areas.
Use high pressure and high volume water hoses to clean surfaces.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Required to complete certification through the McCain Operator Training Program
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic knowledge of computer usage.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Minimum three months related experience and/or training.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Other Skills and Abilities
Mechanical Aptitude is a plus.
Ability to learn the basic functions of other jobs throughout the plant.
